Hello BWL Family Members
I can't believe it is all ready the beginning of September and only 3weeks before fall starts, I hope everybody had a great summer with some outside activities and had some fun summer days? Talking about activities at least the BWL did 3 outside activities this summer, with the first one in May at the resort fair Wayne, Bob and I attended this one, In July Wayne and I join in the activities for Family boat night we enjoyed being their an having fun we handed out 258 smiley stickers but their was some other people that didn't get the stickers it turn out to be a great night.  Than on Friday & Saturday August 10th & 11th Bob, Wayne and I was up at Saint Ed Hall in Burchville for the annual 125 sale trail. We sold different items and Bob sold Ice Cream sandwiches and drumsticks it turn out to be great weather for the sale trail for both days.
We will not have a BWL meeting this month instead we will be celebrating our 70th anniversary, Please come join us on Thursday September 26th 2024 at Chef Shell's at 324 Superior mall between 5pm to 7pm, their will be refreshments and we are inviting the different organizations that has help us out through the years of service and we would like to Thank them for the for their support of the BWL.
I would like to remind you of this year's Convention of the MCBVI it is being held in Grand Rapid on Thursday thru Sunday October 10 to the 13th if you are planning to go you should reserve a room and register soon all the information is on the MCBVI website at michigancounciloftheblind.org
